Visionaire 26 is one of the most unique of all the editions ever published. The theme of Fantasy is housed in a round box with similarly round pages of unbound artwork. Each of the cover elements were photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, exclusively for this edition. The dress was designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga, Viktor & Rolf made the banner, and Jeremy Scott created the gold porcelain doll's head and hands. This edition of Visionaire includes work by Tim Burton, Gregory Crewdson, Marcus Piggott and Mert Alas, with a special section curated by Isabella Blow featuring, among others, David LaChapelle, Mariko Mori, and Tim Noble and Sue Webster. The volume includes the original Hermes mask that many wore to the masquerade ball launch party.
The bottom of the box has some damage to the seam, mostly separation of paper from the cardboard. The lid is in very good condition. Numbered 1731.
